Maeyaert N.V. is a reference point when it comes to the processing of stainless steel. Since 1968, when Herman Maeyaert founded the firm, they have never stopped looking to improve their sanding and grinding operations. A number of investments brought the company to where it is now. Large or small projects, Maeyaert N.V. is happy to take them on. For a number of years, they have relied on Cibo products for processing stainless steel. Lloyd Blomme, head of the Stainless Steel department, learned about the product range from colleagues.

"A former colleague introduced me to Cibo products and they managed to convince me quickly. Cibo offers a wide range of products for the sanding and grinding of steel, and this is precisely what we need. Moreover, we also enjoy tremendous support; Cibo reviews our new products and identifies opportunities to accelerate and/or simplify our processes. We think it is imperative to have a supplier who works so closely with us. It keeps us competitive with our competitors, and our customers benefit from that."

"The lifespan of Cibo products is much greater than their competitors' materials."

Over the last 6 years, the collaboration has grown into a partnership and the bond has just got stronger and stronger. And this will not change any time soon. "What is the difference the Cibo range makes when compared to other suppliers?" "There's a simple answer to that", Lloyd says. "The lifespan and service life of the materials is a lot longer than that of the competition. And, because the materials last a lot longer, our costs are a lot lower and we don't have to replace the working materials so frequently. We can count on that."

Every day, Cibo and Maeyaert NV show that it pays off to work closely in practice, sketch out possibilities and, therefore, to simplify and accelerate processes. Both in the short and long term.

"Liqueur pipe organ" made of stainless steel tubes by Maeyaert
