Rebel One
What is unitized?
Unitized abrasives are the newest generation of 3D abrasives.
They have been developed specifically for finishing stainless steel.
What is unitized?
Unitized materials are composed of a 3D web of nylon threads, impregnated with plastic resin that has been loaded with abrasive grain. The material is then pressed into sheets with a controlled density.
For tasks that would need a lot of time and effort to achieve a high-quality finish using traditional tools, unitized materials can come to the rescue. They combine aggressiveness with a superb finish.
100% Belgian, 100% Cibo
At Cibo, all the base materials for our unitized grades are produced
entirely in-house.
That way, we can guarantee
stable quality. We are also highly
flexible
and respond quickly to new trends in the market.
That means we can offer you the most
advanced
range of unitized products currently available on the market.
Benefits
Consistent, reproducible
finish
Flexible
: adapts to the shape of the workpiece
Cool grinding: less chance of
discolouration
Also suitable for materials that produce a
lot of heat
(e.g. titanium and cobalt alloys)
Forgiving
Iron-free = safe for stainless steel:
no contamination
Open structure does not get
clogged up
Economical to use:

100% VOC-free
VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds)
is the umbrella term for a group of substances that includes fuels and solvents. When these substances vaporise, they contribute to
global warming, acidification and threaten our health. It is very common to use
solvents
in the production of unitized materials.
The entire Rebel One range is
100% solvent-free, VOC-free and contains no polymers derived from bisphenol A.
